Founded in 2001 by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Dear Neighbor Ministries grew out of the Sisters' concern for their neighbors in and around the Hilltop neighborhood. Through a combination of direct assistance, individualized case management, a community food pantry, and other resources, Dear Neighbor Ministries helps individuals and families achieve greater stability, and journeys with our neighbors out of crisis and towards self-sufficiency. 

Today, Dear Neighbor Ministries serves an average of 1,400 individuals each month through food assistance, financial support, and case management services.
